Welcome to our blog page.....

L12 Couriers will post our weekly blog here. Details will include any new developments in the courier world, our latest news, places we've collected and delivered to, pictures, offers & competitions. Hope you enjoy.

Monday 7th November - Sunday 13th November 2011.

After a fairly slow start to the working week, things started to pick up rather quickly ! Bookings took us to Liverpool, Wolverhampton, Milton Keynes, Heysham, Nottingham, Glasgow, Derby and Redcar in the North East. This week (commencing 14th November), we intend to push further on our marketing plans for the business. Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter have been working well for us in the past couple of months and we have gained a few leads / business requests via these platforms.

We've had some really nice feedback from some of our customers in the past few weeks and we intend to create a 'customer testimonial' page on the website as soon as time permits us to!

Each week, we receive a number of phonecalls and emails enquiring if we are taking any staff on. At the moment, we do not require any permanent staff and all of our positions are currently filled. Any overspill work that we cannot cover ourselves due to working commitments / workload, we sub contract to other courier firms who already have the relevant insurances in place to carry our customers' goods. The sub contractors we use are pre-vetted on a regular basis to ensure our consistently high standards are met, in order to continue providing a first class service to our customers.

Our blog this week is pretty short (sorry!). We hope that this week is a busy week for us all. If anyone reading this knows of any businesses who use (or looking to use) a same day courier, please don't hesitate to pass on our details. Thank you in advance - L12 Couriers.

Monday 31st October - Sunday 6th November 2011.

This week, our bookings took us to numerous locations across the UK. They included some large speakers from a college in Liverpool, going to be repaired by their supplier in Herts - Security Clearance documents from Liverpool to Bromsgrove - Landfill site engine parts from Kirkby to Brogborough in Milton Keynes - Parcels from Oakley to Marlow and legal docs from Redbourn to Old Woking - Machine parts from Liverpool to Pwllfawatkin (South Wales) and goods from Runcorn to Guildford.

We are pleased to welcome a new customer onboard this week and hope we can build a successful working relationship in the future. We also carried out some work on behalf of 2 other courier companies this week, to aid them with their overflow work.

Unfortunately, we did very little in the form of advertising our services due to the workload at the office, but we continued to 'tweet' our services when we could and added some pictures to our facebook page of some friendly characters we met on one of journeys.

To finish our 1st weekly (short!) blog, I'd just like to take a moment to send our thought's and prayers to anybody involved in the horrific accident on the M5 on Friday night. It's certainly the worst RTA I have seen in all the years that I've been driving and I can't begin to imagine what the families and friends of those involved are going through at the moment.
